The Best Music Engineering School in California

The Musicians Institute found in Hollywood is one of the best music engineering colleges in the State of California.

MI has a hands-on approach when it comes to teaching audio engineering fundamentals. Their 9-month program takes 720 hours to complete and this is a combined field and classroom training.

While the MI does not have a job placement office they, however, have a job database that are constantly updated for their MI alumni. Apart from giving a lead on probable employers, MI also offers scholarships to the right candidates.

The Top Music Engineering School in New York

An audio engineering school that is often talked about in New York is the SAE Institute. At this school, a student is also required to finish a 9-month audio engineering program of up to 900 hours (combined classroom and field training).

Among the many colleges in the country, SAE is one of the few that offers job placement for their graduates. They also assign career managers for their students upon their enrollment. The career manager takes every student to the right path by helping them achieve their goals in audio engineering.

A student may set his foot in the door of a studio position by simply applying for internships during his education. This is a good way to obtain more experience than the competitors.

Of course, the more experience you have during your college days, the more chances you have in landing a good audio engineering job in the future.

SAE is also providing financial aid for qualified students but scholarships have yet to be offered.
